Our customer is an investment firm that believes virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) are technologies that are going to transform the world. They invest in and support talented and passionate entrepreneurs who are utilizing these technologies to bring new and exceptional ways of communicating, working, and playing to market.
Our client constantly adds to its portfolio of Virtual Reality Training companies through acquisitions and investments. When such scale of M&A happens, the key challenge would be to integrate various disparate systems and processes that all would be working well as islands. In such a situation, the need would be to on-board resources who can handle heterogeneous technologies but think of homogenous solutions.
Through our Contingent/Contract labor workforce solution, we got engaged with the customer to be their resourcing partner.
The challenge, in this case, would be to find contractors who have a good understanding of a variety of technologies and platforms on which all these systems are running and also of technologies and platforms to which these systems have to be moved and/or integrated. We successfully recruited several contractors for the customer along with building a strong backend support of a large number of independent talent who can step in on a need-basis.
